Welcome, welcome back to another edition of the Free Agent Fans Podcast. It's Mike Jr. coming at you. And today is Monday. Full disclosure, I actually recorded this on Sunday. So today is going to be another Sunday rant. I know we said last week that I would have some material with the fellas for this week coming up. First of all, I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day holiday. It was last Monday we did not post anything. If you go out to the website, you'll see. You can always see when we're not posting. I try to keep that updated as best it's possible. And going forward, I'll try to have it 99.9% accurate. So yes, you are the father. But did not get a chance. Some unforeseen events was not able to get with all of the fellas and get some podcasts out. But stay tuned. I know you guys, I know I watch the numbers, and the numbers are bigger when it's all five of us podcasts. You get a lot of different adverse opinions, and sometimes they just downright hilarious. But stay tuned. We will get, fortunately, you guys got to deal with me solo for another few weeks until I can get back, get everyone back together, get some content out. But what we do have coming up, I really, I'm really excited about uh some of the podcasts that are coming up. We're gonna do one on the church. And I don't know if we just sing, I think we're doing the whole church. Uh, for some reason I keep getting stuck in my head, the black church, but you know, what's the purpose of the church? And I'm sure we're gonna have a lot of different opinions, and you know, it's gonna be a very, very interesting topic to focus on. So yeah. It's gonna be interesting to say the least. So stay tuned for that. That will be coming up. I will uh I will give you guys a heads up on the podcast before when those are when that's going to air. So next month I will get with the fellas. Let's see here. We're at May 31st. So next month will be June. We have some dates coming up. We're all gonna get together, knock out some podcasts, do some current events, but one of them will be on the church. And part of the rest will be current events. But today, I didn't want to leave you guys hanging. I said I was gonna put something in, you know, good podcasts. I should have had a backup. But I mean, uh, I'm not that good yet. We're getting there. So today, but something did happen that I can't talk about today. But excuse me, we are getting to the point to where we'll if things will get better, it'll flow better. I was trying to look up something, that's why I'm a little spacey here. I was looking at I was looking at one of my text messages here, and I was trying to, because I know we had some other topics that we were tossing around, and the religion one kind of stood out for me, per se. And that whole religion thing, it it leads me into the whole this white Christian nationalism and MAGA and all these guys that are so pro-religious, but it kind of bothers me a little bit. Because of you kind of using religion. And I know I this is not the first thing. Religion has always been used to uh promote hate. You know what I'm saying? It just is what it is, but you know, it it just it just frustrates me that it's still happening. Nobody's calling people on it. You know, they just run around saying, I'm this, I'm that, but you say things that are negative and hateful towards another race and all this. And I read the entire Bible more than once. I read the Quran, the Holy Quran more than once. And never read, I don't know if there's scripture, but I have read some things about Buddhism. I've read, you know, so I kind of studied a few of the various religions out there. I didn't get in depth. I I mainly put my focus on Christianity, Catholicism, and Islam, Muslim religions. And some of the other ones I briefly kind of scanned in, and I did not see anywhere in any of those where it said hate people, you know, but still say you're doing what Jesus or what God would want you to do. Just didn't see that in there. So I'm not sipping, I'm not sipping any spirits today. So I don't have anything to advertise, you know. As I said before, American Honey is my favorite. I don't think our following is big enough for that yet. Maybe someday. But like I say, I do this for fun. You know, I'm doing all right with my regular job. So it's not a source of thing for me yet. But who knows? The way this current administration is going, it'd be fired tomorrow. But we'll see. So I'm looking at all these the white nationalism, the religion, and all that, and I was watching, what is it called? Meet the press with Christian Welker. I miss my dude, uh, what was it, Todd? Shoot. And I just Chuck Todd, Chuck Todd. I miss Chuck Todd, but I liked Christian Welker from her past. I guess they were presidential debates or whatever. She hosted a few, and that's what kind of got her on my radar. I don't think she is as good a host for the show as she was for Beat the Press as she was doing the uh presidential debates. But I guess she'll do all right, you know. For me, I don't think she I I Chuck Ty seemed to hold people, you know, he seemed to press it a little more. She moves on, but I guess she's doing what she can. She's doing the best she can. I put it to you like this. She ain't Chuck Todd, but I still like her and I still, you know, I'm still cool with the job that she's doing. But anyway, she had the mic pants on today. And what a fucking disappointment. I mean, I don't get it. I don't get it, guys. I truly don't. If I recall right, I don't know if Trump said it himself, but I mean, Megan was talking about hanging, killing this dude. If he didn't rig an election for them, all this stuff they said about him, what they would do to him, and he gets his ass on, meet the press this morning, and she asked him, I can't remember the exact question, but pretty much a couple of questions, you know, about the policies of MAGA and whether Trump and the MAGA agenda was bad for the Republican Party. Now, this dude had an opportunity to say something. I mean, right now it ain't gonna make a real difference, but at least it would put you on what side you stand on where you want your party to be. You want your party to be the assholes that do whatever Trump says to do, which is usually bad for your party, bad for everybody else, other than the people who are directly in his circle, which that I don't understand, too. You got so many dumbass poor people out here promoting this dude, pumping him up, and you still poor, gas is still high, and yet he's making billions, and yet you still support him. I mean, like, what is this? Is it Stockholm Syndrome? I mean, what is it? Tell me, people, please. Is he secretly kicking y'all down or something? Am I wrong as to thinking you're suffering? Because I know I am, and I know that's part of the agenda. People like me, he wants independents and Democrats to suffer, but shit, from where I stand, it looks like his base is suffering as well. And I know suffering's a pretty intense, it's a big word, it's deep, but you could be doing a lot better. We all be doing a lot better, man. The price of food and all that is is is extremely just it's ridiculous. The one thing I can say that came from all this for me and my family is that we didn't used to, like I haven't, I hadn't shopped at Aldi's since I was a kid. Shout out to Aldi's. You can also sponsor us if you want. But hadn't shopped there in a very long time since we were kids, when my mom used to take us there, or probably when my son was a kid. And uh we shop there now, again, because of the price of shit at Dearburgs and Snooks or for wherever you're from in America, if you Kroger's or whoever, Piggly Wiggly, whatever, is probably all extremely high. And Aldi's is, I don't know how they do it, but their prices are considerably low. Like you can go in and something you pay $8 for at Snooks is three, four dollars at Aldi's. So we've been able to save a lot of money. Like, we will go to Aldi's and spend like 160 bucks. Somebody there with two and a half bags worth of groceries to go to Snooks and spend $60 to get a half bag. So, you know, it's uh it's making sense for us. So that's one the one thing, all these high prices of gas and beef and all that, you know, it's probably making me healthier. I'm losing weight because I've been trying to monitor my cholesterol and I don't like it because I lose weight in my arms. I had some pretty nice arms before. I ain't buffed, I ain't, you know, like Terry Cruz or nothing like that. But, you know, if you knew me back in the day, I was like pencil thing. I was like Snoop Dogg in his prime thing. Uh so that that probably played a factor in me trying to, you know, I don't eat as much and uh, you know, my cholesterol, you know, so all that probably helped me kind of guide me towards and all these anyway. But the economy really has helped. You know, like I usually I travel. Well, I don't travel for work, but I have to go to a lot of different places that I manage for work. Last month, this month, May, I did not. We get reimbursed for it. And, you know, travel checks can be pretty nice when you travel a lot, but this month, me no travel hardly. No, because I do have the option. I I can work from home, and I did that this month. I'm probably gonna get like a $60 travel check, maybe a hundred bucks, if I'm lucky, this month. But things are just extremely expensive. So I watched this guy, Mike Pence, on Meet the Press with Christian Welker, get asked those questions. You know, is MAGA bad for the Republican Party? You know, what do you think of Trump's policies or whatever? And he deflected, and well, I think Trump is the only president that put all these tariffs and forced people to come to the table honestly and this and that. Which don't get me wrong, people. I mean, if if we were getting duped in our trade, I'm all for us finding a way to not get duped. I don't think there's any American that would sit back and like, oh yeah, just let us keep getting duped. I think what the American people would want is for us to find a way to not get duped, but also not suffer and make everything high costs for us in the process. Is there a way to do that? If there's not, then you put it to the people. Let us decide. Hell, do we want to pay way too much for shit? Or do we want to just keep getting duped as a country, as a whole? And I kind of feel like the country would probably choose to get duped as a whole because you feel the pain less. You know, but when it's somebody who's making, let's say, what is minimum wage? $15 an hour, and then you got somebody that's making $60 an hour, and they both paying the same for the price of beef. Somebody ain't eating. And even that person that's making $60 an hour, probably not eating like they used to. And it's really, it's really fucked up because, you know, I I know struggle, and I work my way up, and you know, you work all your life, and you, you know, always my dream was to be in management and be in the six-figure club and all this and that, and you do all of these things, and you be patient, and you finally get there, and you can't even tell you there because the price of every fucking thing around you is so high. And it's like, you gotta be kidding me. If the price of shit was still the same as when I was struggling, I'd be really looking good right now. But that ain't the case. So I watched him deflect and still suck from the teeth of Trump, who he ain't getting shit from Trump. To my knowledge, maybe I'm wrong. Mike Pence, you can come on the show and tell me if he's kicking you something to the side or whatever. But all I remember is the dude wanted you dead. He wanted his base to hang you, lynch you, whatever the fuck they were saying. I think they were chanting something, Mike Pence killed Mike, I don't know what it was, but you were not popular, they did not like you, and still, either you that big of a pussy or you that afraid of this dude, or you benefiting somehow from this dude, which I don't understand how, you know, and anybody who's from the same Republican Party, I mean, MAGA, you can call up too. Or I'll call up, I wish. We're not live like that yet, but you can go to the website too, MAGA, same Republicans. What the fuck is the problem? Why are you guys letting this dude destroy your party? I've said before, I'm an independent. And said it on this podcast before. My son had a little thing when he was in high school and he brought it home, and it was to tell where you fit in the party system, Democrat, Republican. Answer all these questions. And my son and I, and I know why my son, well, I mean, we were directly right down the middle. Half of the questions we answered were on the Republican side, half of our views were Democratic. And my son got his views from me. So I'm pretty sure that's why he filled it out. Because he did it at school and he brought it home. He's like, I'm like, oh yeah, let me do it, let me check it out. And we were 50-50, right down the middle, same shit, which says independent. So wasn't a surprise that he was, but I just find it baffling that you guys will watch this fucktour, this orange fuck tour, destroy your party like that. The same ones. You know what I'm saying? Because I used to have Republicans like Mitt Romney. Yeah, he said some fucked up shit, but I would have voted for his policy. There ain't shit about Trump that I can find to vote for because number one, his policies do not make me better financially. They don't make me feel safer on the streets. They, you know, he promotes a lot of hate and racism and a lot of shit that doesn't really benefit me. And he has put nothing in my pocket. He is only taken away from my pocket. So I don't understand what the fucking allure is. You know, what's the I mean, why is everybody so in love with sucking this dude's cock? It just doesn't make sense. And I really need somebody to explain this shit to me. You know, I mean, what am I missing here? I mean, is the is the is the cock milk and honey? Should we all be sucking it? But I doubt if anybody will call because the people who do, they're so stupid that they don't even know why they suck the cock. I think it I think it's just hate. To me, it shows how strong hate is in this country. That you would cut off your own hand if it meant five or six people that you hate of a different race would die. That's the type of hatred that's in this country. I ain't cutting off my hand for nobody I hate. I will just hate that motherfucker, but I'm gonna keep my hand. But that is the kind of hate that we have in this country, and it's sad because this dude, I have zero respect for him or any other Republican that still supports Trump. Like the Republican people, I forget our governor and other Josh Hawley and all these dudes here in my state of Missouri. It's no surprise. Missouri is deep-rooted in racism, and it's been red all my life, and it's been racist all my fucking life. But I'm not moving, so you know what I'm saying, because I found my niche, you know what I'm saying? I mean, I don't hang around the people that don't like me, and I don't let the people who don't like me hang around me. So it is what it is. You know, it fucking sucks, but you know, you you're never gonna get rid of hate, and you're never gonna get rid of racism. So it is what it is. Some idiot is teaching their child to hate people because of the skin of their color right now. While I'm doing this podcast, there's some idiot out there doing that. And it's fucked up because there's good and bad people in every race, creed, color, whatever. And but sometimes you you'll never get to know good people because you're just so full of hate. And I can say that because I met a lot of good people, and I talked about this on the podcast before as well. I met a lot of good people that were that voted for Trump. They were full-on MAGA, but they voted for him. And I'm pretty sure I have friends that voted for him, black and white. And which I truly don't understand, blacks or Hispanics that vote for this dude. But I know she lost by more than one, I think. Well, that would have really sucked if I would have lost, looked and saw that and be like, she lost by one vote. So maybe if I would have voted, I would have tied it, tied it up or something, have a runoff. You never had a presidential runoff? But anyway, so yeah, just really disappointed. You know, like people like like Liz Cheney, I would have voted for her. I like, I like her policy, you know, and she's one of the ones that wants to keep her party sane and not full of the bullshit. But I am proud that uh a judge told me to get his name off of the Kennedy Center. So that's a start. That's something. You know, some people are starting to stand up. I'm also proud to see that some judges, or I don't know if the Democrats had anything to do with that, they're not letting them pay out any of this billion, whatever, $1.2 billion that he wants to start paying people for insurrecting against the uh country. Shit, if I would have known that, uh, I would have got a piece of the pie. I would have gone up there and tinted I was one of them dumb fucks, too. Yeah, fuck this country. Where's Prince? But unfortunately, I missed that lottery ticket. Who would have thought? You know, you would never think that, you know, you would have a president this this classless, this, I mean, just this big of a piece of shit. And he's a child molester. So you guys can say that, you know, and you know, am I supposed to say allegedly no? He's a fucking child molester, period. And he's doing all this stuff to keep you out of them Epstein files because he knows what him and Epstein was doing to little girls. And it's sad that that's how deep our hatred is. That we don't give a fuck that he's a child molester. We don't give a fuck that he's a racist, we don't give a fuck that he's stupid and probably has dementia. We don't give a fuck about none of that. But he just he hates. That's what I hate by darling. That's good enough for me. And it's really sad. It really is. And, you know, part of me, I'm a little hypocritical because shit, I still listen to R. Kelly movie, and we know he's a child molester. I mean, R. Kelly music. And we know he's a child molester. So am I any different from the MAGA dumbfuck that uh support Trump? Now I don't go out like doing what R. Kelly says. The nigga ain't finna have me coming up to prison and shit, bringing him stuff. Like, nah, man, you're a child molester. You where you belong, but shit, run that half on a baby back. Half on a baby. But yeah, so that's just where we at. I don't know. I don't know. We all have our reasons. We all do shit that's suspect. But I ask the question of this, man, because I have a very hard time, like super mega Trump supporting people, like knowing the shit that he said, and you know, like, like people that are friends of mine that are of a different race, right? And you support this guy. I often wrestle with the question, like, is this motherfucker really for me if he can support that shit? Because if Obama was coming out to him about how he was, you know what I'm saying, he didn't, you know, he had people like if somebody like how he loved black Muslims that hated white people, and there's good ones in all of them and that type of shit. I don't think I could fuck with Obama like that because I have white friends that I love. It was in my wedding, you know, they're like brothers to me. And I would have to not fuck with Obama because of that, but I don't think, I don't know. Would my friends do the same for me? It's kind of like that thing, oh, because you we all know the motherfucker wants slavery back. Well, Mike, it's okay, man. I'm not gonna stand up and fight with you against slavery, but you know, you could come live in my house and work for me, and you know, that way you'd be all right. You know, you'd be well taken care of. Now, I don't think I have any friends. Like, I think my friends, I'll choose to believe, and I just may be my ignorance, but I choose to believe my friends would pick up their guns and stand side by side with me. That's just what I choose to believe. So don't knock me for that. But you ask that question, like, hmm, are there those out there like that? Because would I stand up and fight if she was on the other foot? Would I stand up and fight with my white friends if it was some black dude trying to press white friends? Yes, because I don't, I don't think that's right. But you also gotta weigh the fact that, you know, everybody's not willing to throw their life on the line for something that they don't have to. Because some people think that, oh, well, if I took you in and made sure you were safe and didn't mistreat you, that's good too, right? So, yeah. Something to think about. But that's what happened in my day this morning. And pence really pissed me off, man, because you had an opportunity to, you had an opportunity for me, with independents like myself watching, you had an opportunity to pull your, to somewhat pull your party out of the slumps. If he would have just said, no, I don't agree with the direction he's taking the party. No, I don't agree with those policies. Now, if he does, yeah, if he the bullshit that he said on earth, he truly believes that, then that's his right, that's his belief, whatever. He's even stupider than he looks. But if he don't, and he's just saying that because he's afraid that the MAGA people are gonna try to hang him or kill him or whatever, that really fucking sucks, man. Because, you know what I'm saying, you gotta break a few eggs to make that omelet, bruh. And if you want that party back, some people might have to die. But I mean, it is what it is. And you ain't gonna get your party back until that idiot's gone. So I don't know. I just feel bad for it, you know. And like I said, I'm no Democrat either. So I don't know what kind of shit they got going on either, but I do know that uh right now the focus is on the Republican Party because of who you guys have in office. He's representing you. He's doing all this stupid ass shit, making himself rich. And, you know, can you blame him? If y'all that's stupid to still vote for him, put him in, and say okay to all his bullshit while he get rich and you get poor, er, then who can blame him? I mean, seriously. If it were me, I'll tell y'all what, vote for me, and I'll say I hate whatever the fuck you want me to say I hate, and I'll get in office, I'll do nothing for you. I'll only make myself rich, send stupid motherfuckers to do deals with other countries who've never done foreign policy or anything, make the country look like a complete ass. I can do all that for you guys. And hell, I'm black. So you can really be pissed when I do it and say that fucker fucked up a damn country. But I'll make billions doing it.
